Wine experts say this Red wine delivers as promised, with ripe, forward fruit tones and a voluptuously appealing, almost soft texture. Pair this wine with lightly fried meats. A very good Pinot Noir, rich in mushrooms, red currants and cola, made in an almost Beaujolais style. Doesn`t have the weight or density of the winery`s better Washington Pinot Noir, but the alcohol is a little too nice, and the wine shows dry, stewy flavors of raspberries and cherries. A lovely Cab, dry and crisp, with rich, complex blackberry, cassis, dark chocolate and spice flavors. Feels Napa-like in the mouth, with firm tannins and a long, distinguished finish. Cabernet specialist David Lyon owns the estate, which is in the heart of Atlas Peak. Light in color, this sharply defined Pinot Noir shows intense aromas of red cherry, raspberry, tobacco and cracked peppercorn.
