Wine experts say this Red wine is Super Tuscan in flavor, and in actually better than those that go south. The flavors are ripe, with notes of red plum and pie cherry, and a pleasant tangy edge of citrus. The wine is crisp, unctuous and spicy, and goes down easy. This fine estate has produced a “wine of a style in style,” which is packed with flavor and is ripe and creamy. Its flavors are full and the alcohol is low. The wine is showing some alcohol already, but it will benefit with some years of aging. Despite showing dusty plum and cherry aromas, this comes across lean on the bouquet, a reference to the ripeness of the fruit it comes across in. Smoky, woody cassis and berry flavors are pleasant, but a bit hot and/or heavy.
