Wine experts say this Red wine delivers as promised, with ripe fruit, great structure, and a soft, appealing texture. It shows the acidity of the vintage, with some dry tannins behind it. The flavors are dry, rich and concentrated, but the wine shows theamy aromas now. Maybe it will benefit from aging for 3–4 years. An elegant Pinot Noir, but by no means flawless. It has too much tension from the beginning, with sour cherry candy flavors mixed with a hint of herb. Tannins are very present, but velvet, velvet tannins. There`s a touch of heat in the finish. There`s a lot of good about this small-production wine. The blending and the balance between the good black currant flavors and the sweet smoky edge of new oak, and the bright acidity, make it a fine cellaring wine. However, the alcohol is very high, giving it an unbalanced feel.
