Wine experts say this Red wine delivers as promised, with ripe, forward fruit and a long, balanced finish. The aromas of cherry, blackberry and spice are nicely balanced, while the flavors focus more on spice than fruit. It`s nicely made and takes the approach of Chardonnay in one respect or the other. The alcohol is a little hot, but the fruit and acids are well in balance. The blend is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenère and Syrah. With apricot, peach, orange and creamy vanilla aromas, this is an excellent Chard for the money. Sweet on the nose, it has flavors of green apple, lemon-lime and vanilla, with a rich finish. Give this young Cab time in the cellar to come around. Right now, it`s serious and tannic, with oaky flavors of buttered toast, vanilla and buttered popcorn. But there`s a ton of charm and quality wine.
