Wine experts say this Red wine delivers as promised, with bright acidity, slightly funky apple fruits and a clean peppery edge. It tastes like the grapes were crushed and bottled at California AVA (A Century Aries). A California Chardonnay, this is dry, crisp in acidity and minerally, with a welcome green minty edge to the orange, apricot, Meyer lemon and vanilla flavors. Fine for drinking with oysters now. This Pinot certainly has lots of complex, earthy, mushroom-laden notes, but it`s bone dry and firm in acidity. It`s very tannic now, the tannins promising some ageability, but lots of people will love it. The oak is very prominent, dominating even the most elegant of black currant scents. It`s just mildly outstanding, but decant now, and probably will not be for long.
