Wine experts say this Red wine delivers as promised, with bright acidity, a crisp texture and a light touch of vanilla and smoky wood. A California style, this bottling shows a touch of sour cherry and red plum fruit, partnered with very dry sultry notes of leather, black tobacco and black tea. It`s very easy to drink this off-dry, and it`s a little heartier than the norm for this red region. This blend of mostly Grenache, with smaller amounts of both Syrah and Mourvèdre, features vinous, slightly bitter tar and some rather bitter cherry candy. The wine spent 22 months in French oak, 38 months in the bottle. Mild red fruit is the key to this light, fragrant white wine, a good choice for rich egg rolls and charcuterie. Dry and peppery, with firm acids and a smoky meatiness, it`s finely structured, finishing with warmth and a hit of citrusy acidity.
