Wine experts say this Red wine delivers as advertised in the Marlborough appellation. It`s dry, brisk in acidity and dry, yet rich in cherry, red plum and chocolate flavors. The vineyard is in Rutherford, and the wine shows long hangtime raspberry, vanilla, cola and sandalwood flavors. It`s lovely to drink now, and as a whole it`s finished in a warm style. This is one of the best Sauvignon Blancs of the vintage. Blackberry, currant, herb and cedar flavors abound in this dry, tannic young Pinot Noir. But it`s pretty tannic, and the peppery spice gives it firm, young profile. Needs 3–4 years to repay its money. This fine value cuvée is fully in the style of the vintage, with forward, complex fruit. The fruits are a rose garden of cherry flavors, raspberries, licorice and plums.
