Wine experts say this Red wine delivers as promised, with a thick, succulent mouthfeel accented in spicy cherry fruit and bright acidity. It`s a reasonably priced wine for the quality. A Meritage with noticeable sweetness to the nose, this is dry, tart and sharp in acidity. The flavors are of black cherry and red currant, with hints of vanilla and caramel. In terms of mouthfeel, it`s fresh and does a good job of unveiling red fruit. Fresh, fruity and fragrant, this is a fresh, attractive wine. Good acidity, some flavor complexity and the wine`s freshness are all well together. The finish showed some sweetness about it, but it does put the score high. Ripe, rounded and soft, with good new wood flavors and a final perfumed acidity. It is beautifully balanced between its ripe character and its attractive texture. This is a terrific value wine, built on a five-prong voting approach.
Wine experts say this Red wine delivers as advertised as it`s dry and briskly structured, but rude of late. The aromas of citrus, green herbs and white currants are classic for Grenache Blanc, while the flavors are more evolved, offering hints of baking spices and wild berries. Drink now. Iron, pomegranate and tart cranberry aromas show on the nose of this bottling from an increasingly famous vineyard in this region. Those typical aromatic intensity rings on the tongue, with sarsaparilla, sour-raspberry juice, dried strawberry, light to medium maturation and lots of sweeping acidity. The tannins are ripe and lush, but very well oaked. Soft, juicy and uncomplicated on the nose, this bottling from a historic vineyard in the chilliest year allows for a depth of savory mushroom and herb tones. There`s a soft, gravel character to the sip, leading into a yeast-scented finish.
