Wine experts say this Red wine is the future of southern Rhone. Aromas of dried strawberries, jammy fruit, granite and a touch of tar extend long into the finish. Drink now–2018. Barrel aromas of Band-Aid and herbal notes are common for Mendoza grapes, but don`t much resemble Cabernet. This feels heavy and chunky, while bracing acidity keeps the wine feeling modest. Flavors of herbal plum and currant dominate, while the finish is short yet bracing. Drink through 2020. Dominated by rich Chardonnay, this wine is fruity, soft and attractively balanced. It has lime and apple flavors rounded out by a touch of spice. The wine is ready to drink. Tropical-fruit aromas feature a scouring note of sweat and nectarine. This is spritzy and citrusy, with saline and lime notes to go with sour-orange-peel flavors.
Wine experts say this Red wine delivers as promised, with a nice structure of acids and searing, sweet grapefruit and lemon. The vintage was not very good, and tastes clean and refreshing. A little harsh in the mouth, with some peppery, spicy flavors and some green, minty tannins. But it has enough refreshing fruit to drink now. This is a very pretty Pinot, showing the fruit and balance of the previous vintage perfectly. It has just the right edge of acidity to create the heft and elegance that will appeal to many palates. The finish is crisp and refreshing. This is a feminine, light and pretty wine, about equal parts Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. It has a very bright, crisp strawberry flavor, and is dry and medium-bodied. This was a hot vintage, but this Pinot has the consistency and elegance to match.
Wine experts say this Red wine delivers as advertised in terms of ripe, fruity cherry and blackberry flavors, an attractive, balanced texture and straightening power. It feels smooth and velvety in the mouth with bright acidity. The Sousão grape, normally only used in rare blends, has produced here a wine that is distinctly flavored with notes of tobacco, dried plum and licorice. It is round, but without the weight or long-term ageworthiness. The grapes used for this wine are sourced from old vines. There is good balance, with a layer of acidity that surrounds the yellow fruits and the crisp acidity. So the wine feels both fresh and mature. Ready to drink, although it could well age until 2015. Picture perfect, with a deep color and intense aromas, this is a crisp, highly perfumed wine. It is more fruity than toasty, but with plenty of acidity to give it a final refreshing edge.
